Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and how to use FTP software is helpful, but we provide comprehensive guides and documentation to help you learn. We also offer 24/7 support to help you with any questions as you learn.
Your hosting account is typically set up within minutes after successful payment. You'll receive an email with your FTP credentials, database information, and login details. In most cases, you can start uploading your website immediately after receiving your credentials.

Yes, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new hosting accounts. If you're not satisfied with our service within the first 30 days, you can request a full refund. After 30 days, refunds may be issued on a pro-rata basis for the unused portion of your hosting term at our discretion. To request a refund, please contact our support team.
We'll send you reminder emails before your hosting expires. If you don't renew:
Your website will become inaccessible
Your files and databases are kept for a grace period (usually 30 days)
You can renew during this period to restore access
After the grace period, data may be permanently deleted
We recommend setting up renewal reminders to avoid service interruption.
Yes! You can upgrade your hosting package at any time through your student dashboard. When you upgrade, your existing hosting term is extended based on the new package duration. All your existing files, databases, and settings are preserved during the upgrade.

Use the FTP credentials from your welcome email
Connect to ftp.ceiscy.com using your username and password
Upload your files to your web directory

You can access your MySQL database through phpMyAdmin:
Go to ceiscy.com/phpmyadmin
Enter your database username and password (from your credentials email)
Select your database from the left sidebar
You can create tables, run queries, import/export data, and manage your database through the phpMyAdmin interface.
Yes! We support both subdomain hosting (yourname.ceiscy.com) and external domains:
Subdomain: Free with all plans, automatically set up
External Domain: Point your domain's DNS to our nameservers (ns1.ceiscy.com and ns2.ceiscy.com)
When using an external domain, you'll receive instructions for configuring your DNS settings. DNS changes typically take 24-48 hours to propagate globally.
Yes, free SSL certificates are included with all hosting plans. SSL encrypts data between your website and visitors, displaying the secure padlock icon in browsers. SSL is automatically configured for ceiscy.com subdomains. For external domains, SSL can be set up after your DNS is properly configured.

Yes, you can update your profile information through your student dashboard. Log in to your account, navigate to "Profile" or "Account Settings," and update your details. For security reasons, some changes may require email verification.
We strive for 99.9% uptime for all hosting services. This means your website should be accessible at all times except during scheduled maintenance (which we announce in advance) or unexpected technical issues. If you experience any downtime, please report it to our support team immediately.

We perform regular server backups for disaster recovery purposes. However, we strongly recommend that you maintain your own backups of all your website files and databases. You can download backups through FTP or phpMyAdmin. Never rely solely on hosting provider backups for critical data.
